Praia

Na luz oscilam os múltiplos navios
Caminho ao longo dos oceanos frios

As ondas desenrolam os seus braços
E brancas tombam de bruços

A praia é lis e longa sob o vento

Forever And Ever
by Demis Roussos

Ever and ever, forever and ever you'll be the one
that shines in me like the morning sun.
Ever and ever, forever and ever you'll be my spring,
my rainbow's end and the song I sing.
Take me far beyond imagination.
You're my dream come true, my consolation.
Ever and ever, forever and ever you'll be my dream,
my symphony, my own lover's theme.
Ever and ever, forever and ever my destiny
will follow you eternally.
Take me far beyond imagination.
You're my dream come true, my consolation.
Ever and ever, forever and ever you'll be the one
that shines in me like the morning sun.
Ever and ever, forever and ever my destiny
will follow you eternally.

Quero dedicar esta musica ao pai extraordinario dos meus tres filhos..o meu marido.
Feliz dia do Pai a todos os Portugueses!

Because by Demis Roussos

Because I love you more
Than words could ever say
I can live again
With no regrets of dreams that died before you came

Because I know this time
This love is really mine
I can love again
And touch the stars that seemed so very far away

There's a world for us to find
Far beyond the rainbow line
And new horizons everyday
With love to guide us all the way
Eternally, eternally
Because you came to me
With all my dream to see
I can give again
With no regrets for all I gave before you came

There's a world for us to find
Far beyond the rainbow line
And new horizons everyday
With love to guide us all the way
Eternally, eternally

There's a world for us to find
Far beyond the rainbow line
And new horizons everyday
With love to guide us all the way
Because there's you, because there's you

Recordando a minha juventude, aqui vai a letra duma cancao de um grande cantor dos anos 70 chamado Demis Roussos.

To all my friends that never had the opportunity to discover this little paradise...my hometown!
It was here that I enjoyed my childhood and after thirty years away, I am back to enjoy my retirement...
In earlier days, it was more of a rural area, agriculture and fishing was the population's means of survival. Now, it's a city with about 15,000 residents and big industries (we have one of the most important seaports in Portugal -- Porto de Aveiro).
We have beautiful, clean and FREE beaches starting about 5 minutes away and that continue all along the portuguese coast (Barra, Costa Nova, Vagueira and Mira, etc.).
In Barra, you can find the 3rd tallest Lighthouse of the world (The Farol).
I will leave some links here for all of those who are interested in learning more about this area of Portugal, that I must refer, is a good tourist attraction.

Enjoy the pictures and the links:

Just a quick note:
Gafanha and the surrounding areas mentioned are part of Aveiro's district!
